- What does "fractional HR" mean? Fractional HR means you have a seasoned HR professional working with your business part-time or as-needed a fraction of a full-time role. You get expert HR leadership without the salary, benefits, and overhead of a full-time hire.
- Who is fractional HR right for? A wider range of organizations than people often think. We support growing businesses that have outgrown do-it-yourself HR, established organizations whose in-house HR is operating at an administrative level and needs strategic depth, larger organizations whose HR function needs overflow capacity for a season or project, and teams of any size who need specialized expertise for a specific challenge.
- How much time will you spend with us? As much or as little as you need. Some clients use a set number of hours each month; others scale up during hiring pushes or busy seasons and scale back when things settle. We'll right-size it together.
- Is this ongoing or can we start small? Either. Many clients begin with a focused need and grow into an ongoing partnership once they see the difference having dedicated HR makes.
- How is fractional HR priced? It depends on the work and what makes sense for you. We typically engage on a monthly retainer where the support is ongoing, or on an hourly basis for shorter, well-defined work. We'll scope it with you up front so there are no surprises.
