Penticton Kia is seeking a skilled, motivated Red Seal Automotive Service Technician to join its high-performing service team in Penticton, BC.

The Role:
- Perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance to Kia OEM standards.
- Complete accurate multi-point inspections and recommend required services.
- Complete repair orders efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
- Work closely with Service Advisors to ensure clear communication with customers.
- Conduct post-repair test drives and quality control checks.
- Use diagnostic equipment, repair software, and OEM tools to support an efficient workflow.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Support the service team through collaboration and mentorship.
The Requirements:
- Red Seal Certified Automotive Service Technician (Journeyperson).
- Proven experience in diagnostics, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Proficiency with diagnostic equipment, repair software, and OEM tools.
- Valid BC Driver’s Licence with a clean driving abstract.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy, team-based shop.
- Strong communication skills and a professional, team-oriented approach.

NOC: 72410 (Automotive service technicians, truck and bus mechanics and mechanical repairers)
Hours: Monday to Friday, approximately 40 hours per week
Wage: $38.40 to $40.00 per hour (flat rate), depending on experience
