Evoke HR & Immigration is excited to assist Capital Restaurant in its search for an experienced and skilled Food Service Supervisor.
Located in Chilliwack, BC, Capital Restaurant is renowned for its unique approach to Chinese cuisine, blending traditional and innovative cooking techniques to create fresh and flavorful dishes. They are seeking a Food Service Supervisor who can elevate the team and maintain the high standards of their unique dining experience.
The Role:
- Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion, and serve food.
- Assist the manager with front-of-house operations, including supervising and supporting our server team.
- Ensure the smooth running of the restaurant by coordinating daily tasks and staff responsibilities.
- Uphold high standards of service and customer satisfaction.
- Train staff in job duties, and in adherence to sanitation and safety procedures.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Participate in the selection of food service staff and may assist in the development of policies, procedures, and budgets.
- Plan menus and determine related food and labour costs.
The Requirements:
- Proven ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on superb customer service.
- Previous supervisory experience in a restaurant setting, preferably with a background in Chinese cuisine.
- A positive, energetic attitude and the ability to inspire and lead a team.
- Completion of a college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management, or related discipline is preferred.
- Several years of experience in food preparation or service are required.
Terms of Employment: Full-time, permanent position
Language of Work: English
Wage: $18.50 per hour
